Demeter´s support to field missions goes beyond the simple financial assistance to its beneficiaries.
These are programs that are mainly executed on the field – contributing to the performance of innovative projects and providing new solutions in order to replace, over the medium term, assistance with self-generated resources.
To do so, the intervention mechanisms must have some key components:
- prevention of problems,
- enhanced responsibility of the program´s beneficiaries,
- long-lasting and verifiable results for the program´s beneficiaries,
- search for long-lasting economic independence for the sponsored organization.

In its selection criteria, Demeter prioritizes the most innovative programs in its field and does not hesitate to fund recently started projects or organizations.
In this section, you will find many of the programs Demeter has supported since its inception.
They can be consulted by alphabetical or geographical order, or by area of intervention.
For each supported project, you will find:
- an explanation file describing the sponsored initiative,
- description of the role Demeter played,
- link to the website of the organization in charge of the program.
